Enabling and Disabling Automatic User Login

Your PC is configured to automatically log in the default user account, eightvirtues. When setting up a multi user system you will probably want to disable this feature. Doing so will present the user with a login screen at boot where any one of the user accounts may be chosen.
  1. Click System on the Main Menu.
  2. Click Administration.
  3. Click Login Window.
  4. Enter your password since this is an administrative task.
  5. The Login Window Preferences window should appear. Click the Security tab at the top of the window.
  6. To disable automatic login uncheck the check box next to Enable Automatic Login. To enable automatic login check the check box next to Enable Automatic Login and enter the username of the user account you want to log in automatically in the User: field.
  7. Click the Close button and you're finished. Reboot the PC to see the results.
